You can add an Alert message to your homepage.
Here’s how:
Go to your dashboard and click Site Options.
Click on Site Notice.
You can type a message, add a link and change the colour of the Alert stripe.
Remember to click Update.
In the example below, we have added an Alert message about the weather, created a link to our Contact page and changed the colour of the Alert stripe to orange.
You could also change your popup notice but most Groups and Districts use the popup notice to welcome visitors to the site. It isn’t something they change very often, if at all.
The Alert notice is more suitable for urgent messages that won’t be there long.
To disable the Alert notice, simply delete the message you typed and click Update.
